24 May

Dear Friends of Bulgaria,

The Bulgarian Cultural Center of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware cordially invites you to attend our 5th annual festival for the celebration of May 24th, the day of the Bulgarian alphabet and culture. This year’s festival will take place on

JUNE 10th, beginning at 1pm at POLANKA PARK

Old friends will gather, new friendships will be forged. We will enjoy great performances, dance our favorite dances, and sing together to our favorite songs. Once again, the School for traditional crafts will open its doors to popularize the ancient Bulgarian traditions.

This year it will not be required to fill a registration form, but we warmly invite you to come and be a part of our anniversary Festival. We will have a special guest - the legendary accordion player Ivan Milev and his band, specially selected for our event.

Bulgarian businesses will offer great food and snacks for purchase; our Polish friends will sell alcoholic beverages. You can bring your own food and soft drinks as well as folding chairs and tables to relax and enjoy the festivities.

The entrance fee is $10, which will cover the rent for the park and some other expenses associated with the festival. The fee will be waived for children 10 years or younger. If you cannot afford the entrance fee, please contact the Bulgarian Cultural Center, and we will sponsor you. The entrance will be through the gate to the backyard of Polanka Park.

If you are willing to help at the festival, please sign up on our VOLUNTEER FORM. If you cannot volunteer some of your time but would like to help us with monetary donations, we will appreciate your sponsorship.

Please forward this invitation to anyone who might be interested. We are looking forward to seeing you at our 5th annual Bulgarian Festival!
